Just wanted to also chime in, I also deleted every cookie and explicitly the “authorization” cookie, still not working.
I’m using https on Port 8443 and I use the standard CMDbuild auth, with no LDAP whatsoever.

Are there any news regarding this bug? I really need this update to work.
After a lot of digging, I found that it’s definitely a cookie Problem. When I manually edit the “localization” cookie to be the “authorization” cookie, and then set the value to the corresponding authorization value (I found it by searching through the requests which actually worked), I can use the CMDB with the newest update.
For anyone having a similar problem, turns out my problem was that I changed the “context” in the server.xml file.
I changed the configuration to be available at the root path, but that doesn’t work anymore with the new update. As soon as I changed the app to be available at “<my_server>/cmdbuild” the new update works properly. Thanks for everyones help!
