Auto-send email when card attachment is updated

Hello CMDBuilders,

I have a “Manuals” class of which each card describes an operation manual PDF.
The PDF is added as an attachment to the card.

When someone creates or updates such an attachment, it should trigger a (static) email notifying some users to read the updated/new manual.

How can I achieve this functionality?
I tried working with auto-values or form triggers, but these generally do not seem to provide an api work with attachments, and also do not seem to fire when attachments are added/updated.

Version: openMAINT 2.2-3.3.3

Hi @Koaieus, any update on this issue? Were you able to solve it?

We are facing the same issue with READY2USE 2.3-3.4.3. When creating or updating cards, we need to send email to notify specific users. However, Task Manager is missing the “asynchronous/synchronous event” task which is mentioned in every documentation.

Or maybe @tecnoteca can help?
