We are using the open source version of CMDBuild. Right now we have a testing environment and a production environment. We are wondering if there are any possibilities to push changes made in the testing environment (like adding classes/views/fields) to the production environment. Right now we do everything manually on the testing environment and then also do those changes manually in the production environment which is more error prone.

Concerning your question, yes, actually we have just implemented a new functionality that would be very helpful for you and would solve your issue: the “Data Model Synchronization”.
This is a new feature that has been released with the latest CMDBuild 4.1 version. It is a plugin that introduces a structured mechanism to simplify the management and alignment of the data model across different environments.
This functionality is non-open-source, so it is available only for customers that have an active Subscription with Tecnoteca.
