Bug in card view

I recently installed V2.5.0 and instantly found out a bug.

  1. Open Data management module
  2. Choose one of the classes
  3. Choose some card from List
  4. Look at data on card

If card contains *empty* text fields (no matter if those are Editable or Read only), you will find expand.png icon there. By clicking this icon an empty popup will be opened for your pleasure.

I heavily suspect that this is a bug. I see no reason to show expand.png -icon when text field is empty. What is the reason for tempting the user to click an icon that open empty popup?

 

I need to get rid of this, but so far I haven't found out how. I even looked at source code, but couldn't see what was changed between 2.4.3 & 2.5.0.

Actually this is showstopper for us - we can't deploy the new version to production before solving this.

This request has already been included in the development plan and the fix will be available in the next release 2.5.1.

In the second quarter, but the date has not yet been planned.
