Can't create relation (disabled row in the "add relations" popup)

Hi all,

I'm experiencing the following issue when trying to add a relation between 2 elements.

Let's say I'm trying to add a relation between item A and item B.

In the "add relations" popup, if I search for item B, CMDBuild shows it but it's grayed out (and the checkbox is disabled).

Please see what I'm referring to: https://i.imgur.com/QhOF6z7.png (look at item with Id = 10592).

However if, from item B, I search for item A and try to add the relation between them, no row is disabled and I can succesfully add the relation.

So I'm wondering under what circumstances the tool disables a row in the "add relations" popup.

Has anyone experienced the same behavior?

Have you discovered why that happens?

We're using CMDBuild v2.3.4.

Thanks in advance,

Fabián

CMDBuild disables a row in the "add relations" popup if the domain cardinality is 1:N and the row is already connected to another card (1:N means that it can only be connected to a single card through that domain).

Thanks for your quick response.

What's odd is that:
- the cardinality of that domain is N:N (https://i.imgur.com/4YYwC5x.png)
- I can't connect item A with item B, but I do can connect item B with item A (it depends on what item I choose so that it be the left side of the relation)

Any clues?

Thanks!

We did a test on the latest version (online demo of CMDBuild Ready2Use 1.1-2.5.1 http://www.cmdbuild.org/en/contatti/richiesta-demo) and the problem does not occur, it may have been corrected in the last versions.
