Hi all,

 

I just discovered CMDBuild and I'm wondering if there is a Virtual Machine Appliance for VMWare or VirtualBox ready to use to try CMDBuild.

Same here,

I lost more than 2 hours building the server, and now I have to think to the model stuff and relation and report.

software seems very nice but didn't find any easy way to setup it.

I would recommend to prebuild everything, with a Template/sample DB.

Hi Simon,

the CMDBuild setup already provides a step where you are asked whether to use an "empty" database (to set up your own data model) or whether to use a "demo" database (to see an example of a data model already configured).
The choice must be made in the first field at the top of the second form of the wizard (see also Technical Manual page 13).
