correct installationrequirements for openmaint

Hi all,

I want to evaluate the openmaint, because of the positive user-expierience i see on the net.

But now i'm confused about the correct software versions. I want to do the isntallation on a "stand alone" Windows 7 X64 .(later maybe we will implement)

tomcat 6 (x32 or x64) ? or newer version?

=> tomcat 6 and Windows7x64 is not a very stable situation)

java JDK 1.6  or of Java 6.0 (6.0.50 ? 6.0.1?...) same question X64 or X32

sql 9.5 ? or do i need downgrade to 9.0 ?

I find some "minor" guide with these information, but they are all telling em different version.

(CMDbuild uses tomcat 8 and java 1.8.....)

Thsi winformation would be very helpfull.

thanks

Andreas

openMAINT is a preconfigured configuration built over CMDBuild, specialized for Property and Facility Management.
When openMAINT 1.0 (the current version) was released it was available CMDBuild 2.3.1 based on Java 1.6 and Tomcat 1.6.
Then the official required components are Java 1.6 and Tomcat 1.6.
Now is available CMDBuild 2.4 based on Java 1.8 and Tomcat 1.8.
If you want you can replace the webapp CMDBuild 2.3.1 with the webapp CMDBuild 2.4 but you must do it manually and you lose the typical orange skin of openMAINT.
Or you have to wait openMAINT 1.1 which will be released after the summer (September 2016) and will be based on CMDBuild 2.4.1.
