Disable 'change password' feature

Dear Cmdbuild team,
In openMAINT 1.1 - 2.4.2 (11/11/2016) when in:
Administration module->Users and Groups->Helpdesk->UI configuration->Disabled features
I have checked the "Utility - Change password" and saved the settings.
However, a simple user in this group can still see and use the feature to change her/his password.

How can we restrict to NOT be able to change the password?

Please check and tell us about that...

Thank you,
John

Hi John,
as out test all works fine.
Have you done a relogin with the user after group UI configuration edit? New user configurations won't take effect until relogin.

Thanks for your reply.

Actually, yes, the user did re-login. In addition, we did a clear cache and a tomcat restart.

How could I search for the reason behind this behavior?

Any log files to look at? The cmdbuild.log does not produce anything at that point.

p.s. the user is member of only one group and is not privileged user.

You should give us values of internal CMDBuild models called CMDBuild.configuration.userInterface, CMDBuild.configuration.runtime. Youd should get values from browser javascript console.
