External datasource integration

I am new to CMDBuild and am trailing it for a perspective customer. I have a view in a MySQL db i want to import, now the documentation I could find vaguely refers to using an opensource OCS adapter. Now the CMDBuild software has very little documentation surrounding this, does anyone have a howto either using the OCS software or some direct import natively supported.

You can find an example of using the connector at this link in the CMDBuild download page (external connector):
    http://www.cmdbuild.org/filesystem/external-connectors-1.4.0.zip
and some information in the readme included in zip file.

Have you managed to get it working? We're also having some troubles with implementation of our SCCM database.

How do create the xpdl file?

And if I run the jar with (what I think correct paramaters) I get a nullPointerException. Any help?
