Generic error creating geoserver layer

Versions:

  • CMDBuild READY2USE (CMDBUILD 3.1-a)
  • GeoServer 2.15.3
    Adding new geoserver layer got ‘Generic Error’
    geoserver.log shows org.springframework.web.HttpMediaTypeNotAcceptableException: Could not find acceptable representation. This error seems related with ’ The acceptable types for this type of transaction are listed in the manual as application/xml and application/json not text/xml as you are using.’
    Layer gets created at geoserver but error 406 from geoserver to cmdbuild is forwarded as 500 to web application.
