How to install CmdBuild 3 ?

Hi guys,

so I really want to use CmdBuild and get it running. Usually for tools like this, you get a step-by-step guide for Ubuntu, Debian or CentOS. But I cannot find anything apart from a desktop installer (why should I use a Linux desktop on a server?) and some general information (you need a database, you need tomcat). 

So HOW do I get started best?

I suggest you take a look at this manual:
http://www.cmdbuild.org/en/documentazione/manuali/technical-manual
It is not yet complete (it will be next month for release 3.1) but contains support information for the installation.

I already did, but it didn't help me in any way. What I'm looking for is something like this:

Alternatively, a non-gui setup script would be really helpful. I don't know too many people who are using a GUI on a Linux server ;-)
