Hello!
I have installed CMDBuild 2.4.1 in my PC and I want to manage machines in my community.
Then, I have two questions about the usage of CMDBuild.
Using CMDBuild, Can I generate a list of computers and servers approaching maintenance deadline ?
And is it possible to automatically send e-mail attached the list regularly ?
Thanks
Yes you can use the e-mail tasks, available as one of the types of operation manageable with the Task Manager (Administration Module).
First you have to configure with IReport (or JasperStudio) and import into CMDBuild (Administration Module) a report that extracts the data you need, with the layout you need, and that will be attached to the automatic email.

Thanks!
I'll try that.

I have two questions.
Which section in Task Manager should I use to send e-mail ,Asynchronous, Synchronous, Process, or Send e-mail?
And which section in manuals should I read to know about it ?
You have to use the e-mail task.
This function has just been introduced in the last version 2.4.1 CMDBuild. The CMDBuild manuals are updated only at "major version" (2.2, 2.3, 2.4, etc.) so unfortunately you will not even find the corresponding section.
However, the interface is very simple (based on a wizard) so it should not be difficult to use without manual.
