Is there a reconciliation mechanism in CMDBuild?
If there isn't, please explain me, how can i avoid duplicate CI (Cards) ?
You can avoid double CI by setting unique keys from the Administration Module in the corresponding classes.
As regards the reconciliation mechanisms, the CMDBuild Ready2Use subscription includes the synchronization connectors with LDAP / AD (personal archive), OCSInventory / SCCM (client computers or physical stand-alone servers), VMware VCenter (physical and virtual servers in the virtualization infrastructure), SNMP / LLDP (network devices).
All these connectors control the situation on the field every day, compare it with the CMDB, create the new detected ICs, modify the changed technical information, eliminate or modify the status of the undetected ICs, and send to the asset manager a summary of the changes made on the CMDB.
Similar additional connectors can be implemented using CMDBuild web services.
