After updating to version 4.0.0, the ldap authentication is not working anymore. Nothing changed and looking at conf/cmdbuild/auth.conf - the conf is the same as in the working production version of v3.

I have no idea where I would even start debugging, I did not manage to find anything in the logs other than “Authentication failed” unfortunately, maybe one can enable more logging for the auth module?
Thank you so much for this cool project and best regards,
Martin
is there any way i can enable “more” logging to see where the issue is? in the main logs it just says authentication failed unfortunately
Thank you for reporting this issue. We have identified it as a bug and the fix will be included in the next release.

@Nikolay: The roadmap mentions summer 2025: I can’t link to it but if you look at the main page and hover over the project drop-down there’s a roadmap mentioning the next step.
@tecnoteca: How does this fit with the LDAP integration plugin that requires a subscription?
I really hope that the LDAP authentication will still work as part of the open-source piece, and that the LDAP integration is for scraping or updating directory services elsewhere within CMDBuild, but it’s unclear at this stage…
LDAP authentication is still open source. A subscription is only required for the connector included in CMDBuild READY2USE.
