Hello,
I have upgraded from version 2.0.4 to 2.1.0 in the following way:
- Stop tomcat, database, apache;
- mv webapps/cmdbuild directory to old_webapps/cmdbuild;
- replaced cmdbuild.war with new one;
- Start everything again
This worked fine, i needed to run the setup parameters again in admin mode, and restored the downloaded icons. But when checking the attachments tab, there was nothing in the cmdbuild application anymore. Using the alfresco browser, all documents are available.
I looks like links / relations are missing between alfresco and cmdbuild. How do i correct this (i don't want to reload all attachments) ??
Regards,
Eric
Hello, we have just repeated the same test migrating a CMDBuild instance with attachments and we have regularly found the attachments after migration.
Could you try to load a new document in a card that already had some attachments and verify, using the alfresco browser, that the new document is stored in the same folder as the old ones ?

Hello Team,
I have tried your request with the following result:
Original contents is in the path: Company Home > User Homes > cmdbuild > Assets > Racks > Id1001
here is the image named AN-1-1.pdf
I added an other file to the same rack and found this file here:
Company Home > User Homes > cmdbuild > Id1001
The part "Assets > Racks >" is missing.
Hello Davide,
All users have have a minimum of read access to the items. I also tested it with the "admin" account, but this has the same effect: new item is placed in wrong location.
This brings a new question: What is the best/safest way to upgrade to a new release ?? The documentation doesn't describe this process.

Hi Eric,
just a question: are there some privileges restictions with the group are you accessing? e.g. Assets and/or Racks not visible.
Best regards.

Best regards.
