I've started to translated CMDBuild english manuals in french. My work is hosted on BitBucket here:
https://bitbucket.org/poum/cmdbuild-french-manuals/overview
For now, my best effort is on translating the user manual and adapting the screenshots.
As you can see, I've made choice of using markdown, not knowing what you are using.
In order to maintain this translations up to date, it would be pretty handy having access to your doc sources (it would also easier to pull fix requests for the typo I've seen here and there ...).
Any chance you do that ?
Many thanks for your work of translating the CMDBuild manuals in French.
We use OpenOffice for writing manuals in Italian and then the open source tool OmegaT for the English translation.
At the moment we are not organized to manage the CMDBuild manuals in public repositories, but if it is useful for you to have the User Manual in source we can send it to you privately.

Ok, for now, I don't need manual sources, the PDF one is sufficent.
But for the next version, it would be usefull having the deleted/added/modified part to speed up the translation effort. At this moment, the openoffice doc in modification mode could be helpful to quickly detect the changes and speed up the translation.
And by the way, I will take a look at OmegaT ... Thanks
We do not use the features of Open Office to highlight the changes (deleted / added / modified part), because the tool OmegaT already automatically proposes the translation of only the changed parts.
