Hello cmdbuild team,
I'm using version 2.1.3.1 and still have some issues.
When displaying a card in the "Card" tab, not all field data is shown. It looks like that the domain fields are empty.
When selecting the "Relations" tab, i see the relations/domain data so that is there. Also a reports shows the data of the domain/relations. When pressing the "Modify Card" button, the field data of the domains appears.
This happens in both firefox and chrome.
Eric
Thanks for reporting the bug to us.
The fix will be probably included in the next minor release 2.1.4 scheduled for the end of this month.

Hello Eric,
when you create an attribute for a domain, and you wanna show that attribute as a field (under the field of the reference attribute) you have to check the "Display in list" check-box.

Sorry for the delay. The box "Display in list" is enabled, i see the field labels, but not the field content.
When pressing "Modify Card" the content of the fields is shown.

I have clear Tomcat Work Dir, Clear Server Cache, Clear Browser Cache and try a different computer but the problem still persists. I have also set up a totally new server and create a new database with mock up date it still didn't show the reference field as visible data.
The domain definition is as
The attributes definition is as
The Card when edited is as
After Saving, the card don't display the fields/attributes information as
Cmdbuild Version is as
This is making my users very upset.

Dear Zahri,
we have done some tests but this bug looks fixed.
After a version upgrade we recommend to clean the browser cache and the Tomcat work directory (when Tomcat is not running).
Do you have done that operations?
If the problem persists, can you post more details like the type of the domain's attributes that are not valorised?
A screenshot could be also useful.
Thanks

Dear Technoteca,
I would like to confirm that this function is working. It didn't work after doing the upgrade. Since I don't have anything else to go by. I install a new cmdbuild instance. I am satisfied that it work but I don't know why my original instance with all the date fail to show the fields.
In the end, I have to connect to postgresql. Make SQL dump (backup). Manually delete related tables. Go into Administration page. Recreate the whole structure. Go back into postgresql and do insert from my backup dump. I lost the links. So I have to manually create the links between the classes. Now the information is shown. I don't know what was the issue. At least I have the information correctly shown now.
I have removed the images to my earlier posts for security reason, so the links are now broken.

Hi,
I am using version 2.1.4 and i'm experiencing the same issue. I have found that if you create the attribute without checking "display in list", and later update this field, the update seems to have no effect. If you re-create the attribute with the "display in list" checked it works fine. It appears that insert is doing something to the meta data that the update function doesn't.
We will check your report and we will correct it in version 2.1.5 which will be released soon

Good deduction there Tyler. I try it and can confirm it.
And to Technoteca.. good job again.. After upgrade to Version 2.1.5, I am confirm that this problem is solved.
I have downloaded 2.1.5 to try it out. I started with an empty database The bug still appears to exist: When creating a referenced attribute without checking "display in list", the field is empty when selecting the card. It does show when modifying it. If you check "display in list" afterwards, the filed is still empty in the list and on a selected card.

Sorry Ultra I don't see this error. Can you give me a more detailed description?

I can't reproduce it now either. Nevertheless there still is a class which has an attribute that show empty values on the list or when selecting the card, but is filled in when modifying it. When adding another attribute to the same class using the same reference, that one does show up.
Clearing the local browser or clearing the cache via Server management > Cache management does not help.
In the database, the columns and triggers for the attributes using the same reference are the same.
I thought it might have happened after an import of 200+ records, but that isn't it either.
If I manage to reproduce it later on, I will let you know of course.
