OpenMAINT Processes not working after POSTGIS

Hello

I had OpenMAINT working with alfresco and shark added, so all processes worked, no issues there. I then decided that I wanted to add GIS services, so I followed the instructions on page 8 of the technical manual and then added the demo back up database using restore through PGADMIN. GIS services works now however the processes don't. I can can only assume that in following the instructions on page 8 I have changed a setting in the database which affects the workflows from functioning, I get the pop up boxes on the right hand side come up which happens when you have not correctly configured shark.

Can you tell me how to fix this issue as I need both GIS and processes where as at the moment I can only have one or the other, GIS with the database setup for it or Processes and not following the GIS set up

Thanks

Marc

Hello,

when you say that you "added the demo back up database using restore through PGADMIN" do you mean that you perform the restore over a not-empty database you already had in use?

managed to fix the issue, when following the instructions and creating GIS schema, I also created a shark schema and added shark to the search path, this seemed to fix it. Hope this helps someone else

One more thing whilst on the GIS subject, how do I add points for complex? at the moment it is limited down to building, floors and generic, this seems to tie in with the tables in the GIS, schema

To add a point for complex you have to go in the Administration Module => Classes => Complex => Geographical attributes => add attribute.
You can find information about it in the Administrator Manual V2.4 pag 30.
