Patching fail after first Openmain installation

Hi,
after my first installation (ubuntu, Openmaint 2.4 4.1.0), I can reach the db conf via web.after configure it, I find myself on the patch installation page
if I try to apply them , the system return “generic error” without any other reason.
where can I found some log about it?

Hello,

You can find the application log inside the logs directory of your Tomcat installation. Specifically, useful information is stored in the openmaint.log file.
