Preventive Planner instances as not planned yet

Hi!

As the titles says “Instance not planned yet”, I’m testing OpenMaint on a Linux system, I already set some preventive plans but in the Preventive Planner i only see all the instances as not planned. I have the same behavior using the demo database, also in the online demo on the Tecnoteca website.

I checked and I have running the scheduler job task.

Does any one know how to fix it?

Thanks.

Sorry for the inconveniences, I already found that the instances are created with the “Waterway Jobs” service, that I had deactivated; plus, it triggers at 5:00 in the morning.

Thanks.

Hi @GourryX, could you develop more on how you got it working?

What does “Waterway Jobs” have to do with this issue?

Also, what triggers at 5:00 in the morning?

No matter how I create a card in Preventive Plan or in Preventive planner, all occurrences appear grey “INSTANCE NOT PLANNED YET”

Hi @sebastien @tecnoteca, I’m having the same issue on my local test and online demo provided by openmaint

Any chance Tecnoteca to answer on this issue ? All forum visited with this problem and no answer …

Hi! Sorry for the late answer. I’ll try to be the most specific, but I don’t remember what I did, as it’s already running without not much problems. As far as I remember I enabled the “Waterway Jobs” in Settings → Server Management → System

Waterway.Service

Also, if you check in the command line, and input the next command where is located your installation

./cmdbuild.sh restws -username ‘USERNAME’ -password ‘PASSWORD’ sysjobs

you will see the trigger schedule

Services.Triggers

Also, if you want to force the creation of the instances, you can do it with the next command

./cmdbuild.sh restws -username ‘USERNAME’ -password ‘PASSWORD’ runsysjob waterway.PrevMaintAdvanceScheduler
