Problem Installation CMDBuild on Ubuntu Server 14.04

Dear all

I already try many times install CMDbuild version 2.41 on Ubuntu Server 14.04 LTS with following software components:

  • Tomcat 7.0.52
  • JDK 1.8 Oracle
  • Postgresql 9.3

Until now cannot load cmdbuild when click "start" button on Tomcat Web Application Manager, and error information appears as follows:

"FAIL - Application at context path /cmdbuild could not be started"

As additional information, all of the files libraries already copied to tomcat directory and also WEB-INF / lib (cmdbuild).


I really hope to be able to get information about how to resolve this issue.

Check catalina.out file on your server to get detail of the problem.

unfortunatly these information are not enough for determine the real error. Could you provide an extract of Catalina log?
