Re: Unable to get geoserver working

Hi,

I've installed CMDBuild 2.2.1 from package with DMS Alfresco 3.4.e (with packaged installer) on Ubuntu 14.04 LTS. All seems to be working properly.

However, I'm not able to install Geoserver because it needs postgis and I'm not able to install it ! I've followed some tricks founded on the Internet unsuccessfully. When I try to install a package, a new instance of PostgreSQL is installed and I do move some repertories. But in the process of creating the database with postgis.sql, some versions problems appears.

I'd precedently install DMS Alfresco 5.0.b with psql 9.3 on Centos 7 and successfully installs postgis, but CMDBuild doesn't work ! I retried with Alfresco 3.4.e and the same problem occurs.

How do you proceed ? With a legacy version of Linux ?

Could you help ? Thanks.

Michel

Hello,
on Ubuntu we usually install postgres 9.3 and the package "postgresql-9.3-postgis-2.1" for postgis 2.1.

Best regards
