Some Questions RE: 2.2

Hi, I have some questions regarding CMDBuild 2.2.

1. How do I configure the CMDBuild interface to display the Navigation tab (which has my custom menu for each usergroup) to display by default and if possible, entirely hide the class list - without explicitly denying access to write/read classes?

2. With an ASynchronous task configured I have managed to get the system to issue an e-mail notification upon validation of an attribute condition. However, how to I then add the values of the attribute, or other attributes of the card / cards affected into the e-mail template, is there a way to set a placeholder for the attribute?

Thanks,

Jamie

To configure the Navigation Menu (both the default one and those specific to each group) you can check the Administration Manual (page 59).

To insert in the notification mail some card attributes you need to wait for the next CMDBuild versions.
It could be the version 2.2.1 which will be released in early July (if we can finish in time this function on which we are already working) or the version 2.2.2 that will be released in autumn.

Thanks for the response, looking forward to the next iteration to bring that functionality to the e-mails.

With regards to the navigation menu, I have created a custom menu for my chosen user group. Whenever a user from that group logs in, the navigation menu displays briefly and then it brings up the classes menu on the left.

To get back to navigation after login, I have to manually select navigation.

Is this the expected behavior?

Thanks,
Jamie

No, the normal behavior is to stay on the navigation menu, if it is configured.
You can verify this behavior on the CMDBuild online demo.
