Synchronous Event to start a workflow from database update

Hi, 
 
I installed OpenMaint 1.1-2.4.3, and want to use the Synchronous Event to start a workflow.
When I modify the card myself, it will start a workflow.
But when the card is updated from database (Postgresql trigger function), it will not start a workflow.
 
Please help me, any hint on how to do this.
My guess is on the Group to apply configuration.
But if the update is coming from outside, this is consider under which group?
Or is there a way to add in the list of group?

A similar bug was corrected in the 2.5 release of the CMDBuild “core” on which openMAINT is implemented.
I
suggest you update openMAINT to version 1.1-2.5.0 ( https://sourceforge.net/projects/openmaint/files/1.1/Core%20updates/ ).
Or you can wait for version 1.1-2.5.1 which will be released later this month and which will include other fixes.
