Tab Map

Hi,

I have installed CMDBuild 1.5 but I have noted that in the management area, in the lower part of the form, near the TAB Attachments there isn't the TAB Map for managing plants.

Why? Does it depend from the CMDBuild version?

Thanks in advance!

Rossella

Once you enable the GIS module in the Administration area, you should see a button in the top right corner of the card grid.

I see a button in the top right corner of the card grid and when I click it I can see Google maps or Yahoo maps as setted in the Gis module in the administrator area. My problem is that I can't see the map of a building that I have loaded in GeoServer, so I ask if this depends from the fact that I haven't the TAB Map near the TAB Attachments. In the card grid there are the TAB: Cards, Details, Notes, Relationships, History, Attachments. There should be also the TAB Map?

I'm wrong?

Thanks!

Rossella

Dear Rossella,

The map tab was present only in our prototypes, and I think it was never released to the public, so the manual must be wrong. I took a quick look at it and I couldn't find any wrong screenshot. Can you tell us where have you seen it? Thanks.

If you have uploaded the layer through the "Geoserver layers" panel in Administration, you should see it both in the "Layers order" panel and in the "Layers" tab of each class. To activate a layer for a class, tick the "visibility" flag on the layer grid in that tab.

I have seen the map tab at this page: http://www.cmdbuild.org/it/progetto/caratteristiche/georiferimenti

In the screenshot it's present map tab, there are also other buttons as for example: Zoom in, Zoom out, Move Map, there is also a section layer, geografhical links, selection, print and so on...

I have uploaded the layer through the "Geoserver layers" panel in Administration, I see it in the "Layers order"(the file is a geotiff) but here is not setted the reference class. I see it in the "Layers" tab of a class, but it is not setted the reference class. The visibiltity flag on the layer grid is activated. The problem is that I can't see the geotiff uploaded in the map in the management area even if it is present as overlays and it is checked.

Thanks.
