Using Shark Web Client with CMDBuild

Hello,

I have CMDBuild with its own Shark instance running, and another installation of Shark Server with a Shark Web Client running and using the same PostgreSQL DB.

However, I wasn't able to make both view and edit the same processes.

1) Is this possible?

2) If yes, what are the steps necessary to do that?

Thanks in advance,

Wajdi

Dear Wajdi,

unfortunately I must say "I don't really know" to both your questions.

CMDBuild uses Shark features for process' management through the use of Shark's web services only, not using Shark's UI. Consider this:
1) CMDBuild uses its UI for handling process' instances and we want to manage those process from one point only
2) CMDBuild stores a copy (subset) of process data, so we want to be sure that those informations will be always synchronized

We've never tried Shark Web Client in parallel with CMDBuild's UI, and really there is no plan (and reason) for doing so. Maybe some maintenance activity of course, but surely not for starting/advancing processes.
