which version Alfresco can I install to integrate with CMDBuild

in manual requirement Alfresco 3.4. So I install 3.4c and i have an error "Cannot read definition for category Image" and "Cannot read definition for category Document". and when a try to attach file, i have error :

Call: services/json/attachments/uploadattachment

-------------------------------------------------

Error: org.cmdbuild.exception.DmsException: DMS_ATTACHMENT_UPLOAD_ERROR

maybe another version of Alfresco DMS needed? which 3.4a, 3.4b, 3.4c, 3.4d, 3.4e....

About the interface with CMDBuild there should be no differences between the different versions 3.4x
Did you configure
the attachments
categories as specified in the Technical Manual p. 26 ?
Are the chosen values present in the CMDBuild lookup “AlfrescoCategory” ?

CMDBuild Team

yes, I configured settings and *xml configuration like  Technical Manual.
in the CMDBuild lookup "AlfrescoCategory" chosen "Document"

add some *xml file in dir:
{alfresco}/tomcat/shared/classes/alfresco/extension
cmdbuildCustomModel.xml
cmdbuild-custom-model-context.xml
web-client-config-custom.xml

{cmdbuild}/WEB-INF/classes
cmdbuildCustomModel.xml
metadataAutocompletion.xml

I encountered the same problem, any ideal i can fix the problem?

Dear maxim,

the use of those XML files is not mandatory for the integration with Alfresco. Could you try to remove them (going back to a clean Alfresco installation) and then try again to attach a file from CMDBuild? If you would encounter an error again, would you be able to post the log?

About the log: edit CMDBuild's log4j.conf file, set the "dms" logger level to "DEBUG", save and then wait a minute so that the settings will be applied.

Best regards.

The problem has been fixed.  As we have two servers one is Alfresco and the other is cmdbuild, the system time between the two server is not sync, the problem will occur.

The problem is fixed when the system time are sync between the two servers
{alfresco}/tomcat/shared/classes/alfresco/extension
cmdbuildCustomModel.xml
cmdbuild-custom-model-context.xml
web-client-config-custom.xml

{cmdbuild}/WEB-INF/classes
cmdbuildCustomModel.xml
metadataAutocompletion.xml

hello!
send me your XML-files to my email address xshell.com@mail.ru
I just with my service does not start Alfresco
an error
WARN [org.alfresco.wcm.client.util.impl.GuestSessionFactoryImpl] WQS unable to connect to repository: Not Found

I had the same  problem and I solved it creating the space "cmdbuild" under "User homes" with Alfresco administrative console  (ver. 3.4.e)

Previously I was wrong, I created the Space under "Company Home"

.

You may install Alfresco 5.2 and CMD Build 2.4.3 which are the latest on both ends and supposed to work fine.
